How to setup Rift to use CPU Multi-Core
This guide will explain how to setup Rift to use more than a single core of your CPU and distributing the effort on multi-cores instead of smashing a single core.in order to do that we have to re-configure a file called rift.cfg and set a different value MainThreadCPU. Follow this step by step guide to use more of your CPU cores and result in a better FPS in game.
STEP 1:
1. Go to START > RUN
2. Type %Appdata% as a result you will go to C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming now open the Rift folder and then open rift.cfg as a notepad.
3. Press CTRL+F and search for MainThreadCPU > set MainThreadCPU = 0 > set value to 0 instead of 3.
values explanation: 0 means use all cores, 1 is core 0, 2 is core 1 etc etc)
